Our Instructor Cadre has over 135 years of off road riding and racing experience, 88 years of front line policing, specializing in remote vehicle patrol and 50 years of commercial driver training.
We have developed our courses based on real world experience, providing a significant advantage for those employed in front line operations.

What sets our courses apart from the competition?

A simple Google search for ATV training will produce multiple companies offering partial to full day courses totaling 3 to 7 hours of instruction. These courses are usually conducted on a flat grassy field with no topography or natural obstacles and are geared as a familiarization course for the general public.

At the Canadian Off Road Vehicle Academy we offer the only 5 day commercial operator OHV course in Canada. With over 40 hours of classroom, practical exercises, scenarios and riding on three signature trail rides, our courses prepare your employees for a career of commercial operation.

Our courses are run exclusively in Haliburton County. Boasting the largest OHV system in Ontario, the 1700 kms of trails have allowed us to create a progressive learning environment for our students. With the majority of the roads open for legal OHV travel our students will cover approximately 200 kms during the week and gain experience on asphalt, gravel, hard packed dirt, mud, rock and significant water crossings.
